Dual-booting has been fairly common in computing technology, where a computer system is been installed with two different operating systems, and user can choose which OS to start on system boot up. But dual-boot has never been a possible scenario for smartphone or mobile phone, where OS is tightly integrated with firmware in ROM, until a developer named yozgatg released Gen.Y DualBOOT, the dual boot solution for Windows Mobile devices with XDANDROID.
With Gen.Y DualBOOT, mobile devices can be easily booted into both Windows Mobile (WM or WinMo) or Android. Gen.Y DualBOOT works by launching itself at boot by creating and setting a registry key in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init] that been triggered after shell gets initialized. Read more

You can download the Android custom ROM here
And here’s the install guidance :
1. Gain root (follow the various threads available on the forums to accomplish this).
2. Download the latest build above.
3. Copy to your sdcard as update.zip
4. Power off your phone.
5. Hold the Home button, and power on the device. (This should send you into recovery mode).
6. Press ALT+B to create a nandroid backup (if you wish to fall back without losing any data later, if you do go back to RC33 [or any other firmware 1.0 update] you will need to reflash your radio, users have reported problems using the new radio on the old firmwares.)
7. Press ALT+W, then ALT+S.
8. wait for it to finish, then home+back.
Enjoy the Android custom ROM!

Google has released the Android 2.0 SDK as of October 27th, 2009. We know how eager everyone has been to get their hands on Android 2.0, so we have decided to write up instructions so that anyone may download and install the SDK, then create and run an emulator instance.
Note, the emulator is not intended to duplicate any particular device, so treat this more as a look at some of the core new features of Android 2.0 than an emulation of any current or future device. Also, things that require hardware features are not available in the emulator. No multi-touch in here guys (unless you manage to get two mice to work?).
Enough of the talk, let’s get down to business.
1) Download appropriate file for your system from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
2) Extract to desired location
3) Run “SDK Setup.exe” (or the equivalent for your system) Read more
